  • From data of nitrate contents in groundwater obtained during September of 1989 to April of 1992 in fifteen wells of the Cubeta de Pulpi aquifer, its espacial and time-course evolution in the water is studied. The nitrates have a direct relationship with the agricultural and urban activities. The liquid and solid wastes from urban and cattle raising activities, and the fertilizers of the agriculture are the principal contamination sources.
