    With the pollen analysis from the archéologie fill in the Jean-Pierre 1 and Jean-Pierre 2 caves, we can follow the history of the surrounding vegetation from the beginning of the Late Glacial to the Sub-Boreal. The climatic variations are correlated with the prehistoric industries in situ ; is therefore possible to see the evolution of the natural and cultural environment over a period of approximately 1 5 000 years in Savoy.

    Les analyses polliniques du remplissage des deux grottes Jean-Pierre 1 et Jean-Pierre 2 permettent de suivre l'histoire de la végétation, aux environs du site, depuis le début du Tardiglaciaire jusqu'au Sub-Boréal. Les variations climatiques sont mises en relation avec les industries préhistoriques découvertes dans le gisement. Il est ainsi possible de suivre l'évolution du milieu naturel et culturel pendant près de 15 000 ans en Savoie.
