Resumen de Hoje, com a troika, qual é ‘A ordem natural das coisas’?

  Juliet, the main female figure of the Ordem Natural das Coisas, oscillates in two interpenetrated narrative movements: the extreme representation of a simulated existence and an ironic deployment of an author that sees the novel as a self-reflective puzzle. The cohesion between these two symbolic systems is given by setting the diegesis in a depressive universe, through a poetics of death and silence with unparalleled lyrical effects. In this essay we seek light in some of these cases, crossing them, in some way, with the state of siege experienced by portuguese society in 2013.

  Julieta, figura feminina principal da A Ordem Natural das Coisas, oscila em dois andamentos narrativos interpenetrados: a representação extrema de uma existência simulada e o desdobramento irónico do autor que con­cebe o romance como um complexo de enigmas autorreflexivos. A coesão entre estes dois sistemas simbólicos é dada pela fixação da diegese a um universo depressivo, numa poética da morte e do silêncio de inigualáveis efeitos líricos. Neste ensaio, procuramos luz em algumas destas hipóteses, cruzando-as, de alguma maneira, com o estado de sítio vivido pela socie­dade portuguesa em 2013.
