  Se estudian los ritos funerarios y el ajuar que acompañaba a los enterrados en el nivel Calcolítico de la Cueva de Abauntz con especial hincapié en un resto craneal con lesión y supervivencia del individuo. Se interpretaría éste como una intervención con un claro interés curativo que se resolvió favorablemente para el paciente.

  In this paper we study the funeral rites and the associated dowry documented in the Chalcolithic burial level of the cave of Abauntz (Navarra). We focus on the remains of an injured skull. The signs of recuperation indicate that the individual survived. We explain that as the result of a real procedure (favorably resolved) with a clear interest to heal the patient.
