This works studies the rare denominations of the « Beetle/Scarab type » with a wheel ora horn, which have long posed problems of attribution and dating. Different prototypical, stylisticand metrological elements have lead us to place them among the pre-classic Greek Marseillecoinage, datable to the 2nd half of the 5th Century B.C. As a result, these denominations have nowbecome the first group of Tetartemorion to be identified for this period.
