  • The article discusses an exchange between Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, president of Mauritius and activist Ory Okolloh. They discuss topics including information technology, science and innovation and divide between global North and global South. Further, they also discuss topics such as human capital in Africa, technological innovations and industrialization. In additions, topics including engineering, brain drain and global research output are also discussed. Capital investment and education are also mentioned.
