  • Resumen
    • This paper discusses how theresearchers integrated two soft approaches in Operations Research - SoftSystems Methodology (SSM) and Constructivist MultiCriteria Decision Aid(MCDA-C) - into one decision aid model (SSM/MCDA-C). They did this in order tohelp a determined decision-maker to understand, organize and structure thecontext and the circumstances which led this person to suffer from stress, aswell to enable the measurement and comparison of the different optionsavailable to improve her quality of life. In this sense, section two describesthe approaches which give methodological support to the proposal, MCDA-C andSSM. In section three, as well as presenting the SSM/MCDA-C model, there isalso a demonstration of its practical application. Finally section fourpresents the general theoretical and practical considerations andrecommendations with regard to the integrated problem structuring modelproposed.
