In this unconventional science course that couples science with playing games in the school grounds, pupils use their bodies to illustrate physical phenomena and science models. In the context of acting out analogies outdoors, pupils play, run, dance and spin during their studies of electricity, states of matter, atomic structure and wave motion. The results of this method of study suggest that this re-contextualised learning environment can motivate and engage pupils, and even assist them in confronting many of their common misconceptions about science phenomena.
