Resumen de Arte, arquitectura y vanguardia durante el primer peronismo

El trabajo trata los vínculos entre la vanguardia concreta liderada por Tomás Maldonado y un grupo de estudiantes de arquitectura de la UBA. A partir de 1948 el grupo de ar-tistas y arquitectos se constituye como un frente de lucha por la arquitectura moderna y la renovación cultural, y emprende una serie de iniciativas sumamente novedosas en las que se fusionan arte, arquitectura y diseño. En este contexto, se analizan las fluctuantes relaciones del grupo con el peronismo, con la intención de complejizar el relato histórico más extendido sobre este periodo.

This work addresses the links between the artists of the Concrete Avant-garde led by Tomás Maldonado and a group of students of architecture of the Buenos Aires University. From 1948 the group of artists and architects constituted a front for struggle for modern architecture and aesthetic and cultural renewal, and undertakes a number of highly innovative and corrosive initiatives where merge art, architecture and design. In this context, are analyzed the fluctuating relations that the group en-gaged with peronism, intending to complexify the most widespread historical vision on this period.
