  Se hace una revisión clínico histológica de los tejidos blandos que rodean los implantes osteointegrados tipo Branemark. Observamos una relación entre el epitelio de unión en los dientes naturales con el epitelio alrededor de los implantes y se puede afirmar después de los estudios de cicatrización en gingivectomías y cultivos celulares de la mucosa gingival que la mucosa oral tiene las cualidades necesarias para obtener una unión estable con el implante. Nosotros también revisamos la unión conectivo-implante y la importancia del sellado epitelial en relación con las causas de fracasos periimplanterios y como éstas actúan sobre los tejidos blandos que rodean el implante.

  We did a clinical histological review of the soft tissues surrounding osseointegrated Branemark implants. We observed a relationship between the junctional epithelium in natural teeth with the implant epithelium union and we can say after the Studies of cicatrization in gingivectomy and the cellular cultures of the gingival mucosa that the oral mucosa have the necessary qualities to obtain a stable union to the implant. We also reviewed the connective implant union and the importance of the epithelial seal with and the causes of the failures of the periimplants and the soft tissues.
