  • The article reports the claim by regional lawyers as of mid-September 2015 that the financial services sector in Brazil should adopt the debtor-in-possession (Dip) financing model. According to law firm Paul Hastings partner Joy Gallup, dip financing is longer to process in the country. Also cited are the comments by law firm Machado Meyer Sendacz e Opice partners Renato Maggio and Renata Oliveira on Dip financing.
