  • The article discusses regulatory and other developments in the financial services market in Qatar as of mid-September 2016. Also cited are the 2000 Foreign Investment Law covering foreign capital investment in economic activities, the establishment of the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) in 2005, and the 2010 comprehensive electronic commerce (e-commerce) law.
