  • The article discusses the efforts by the People's Republic of China (PRC) as of September 2016 to resolve the issues involving non-performing loans (NPL) in the financial services market. Also cited are the problems confronted by banking authorities in opening the market for securitisation like a ban on international ratings, and the report by Export-Import Bank of China Supervision Board chairperson Yu Xuejin on NPLs.
