  • The article reports that illegal private equity fundraising activities onshore are beiing investigated by China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). It is mentioned that with assets under management totaling 135.7 billion dollars, a total of 2,462 individual funds were involved in the inspection. Comments of Annabella Fu van Bijnen, partner at Linklaters, regarding fundraising rules are also given.
