Inmigrantes en la ciudad Buenos Aires: demarcaciones y recorridos

    El artículo trata sobre recorridos y representaciones de inmigrantes bolivianos en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Los lugares para vivir, para trabajar, para pasar el tiempo libre y para reunirse y diseñar actividades y acciones colectivas se encuentran para estos migrantes en un área acotada del sur de la ciudad. Las marcas y las conexiones sedimentadas históricamente cargan esta parte de la ciudad y predisponen, positiva y negativamente, unos determinados circuitos urbanos. La ciudad presenta fronteras y, para muchos migrantes, se muestra peligrosa. La circulación pública no está nunca exenta de riesgos. Para otros migrantes, en cambio, la misma demarcación de la ciudad incita a superar sus límites y a ir más allá de esas fronteras. Para estos migrantes las referencias a espacios y áreas del norte de la ciudad resultan persistentes, se vuelven el motivo de muchas de sus narrativas y ordenan los propios modos de circular por la ciudad (o de intentar hacerlo). Al explicar sus desplazamientos por la ciudad, explican también sus desplazamientos internacionales fuera del eje inmigración / emigración. El desafío del artículo es aportar elementos para la comprensión de una “categoría nativa” clave en este proceso: “recorrido territorial” y, a través de ello, aportar a la comprensión del proceso mismo

    The article is about journeys and representations of Bolivian immigrants in the City of Buenos Aires. Places to live, to work, to spend leisure time and to meet and make collective activities and actions are in a bounded area of the south of the city. This part of the city has historically sediment marks and connections that predispose, positively and negatively, certain urban circuits. There are borders into the city and, for many migrants, it shows itself dangerous. Traffic is never without risks. For other migrants, instead, the same demarcation of the city encourages to exceed its limits and go beyond those borders. These migrants make references to spaces and areas of the north of the city once and again. These references become the subject of many of his narratives, and arrange their journeys (actual or projected) around the city. In explaining their moves around the city, the migrants also explain their international moves, setting aside the immigration/emigration logic. The challenge of this article is to provide elements for understand a key “native category” in this process: “territorial journey” and, through this, to provide elements for understand of the process.
