  • The article reports that NTPC, India's electricity generator, has successfully listed the world's first green masala bond, priced at Rs 20 billion in London and Singapore in August 2016. Amit Singh, partner at Allen & Overy in Hong Kong, said that the lack of clarification over capital gains led them to create in a provision in NTPC's green masala bond terms.
