En un momento de cambio, los teólogos del Siglo de Oro, en particular los aquí estudiados (Francisco de Vitoria y Alfonso de Castro), supieron responder desde el hombre completo y en la discusión desde el hombre (en su inmanencia y trascendencia) a los problemas y retos prácticos de su tiempo; a la necesidad de conformar jurídicamente un nuevo tiempo (el problema de la ley) así como a la de comprender las nuevas prácticas comerciales. En este artículo se plantea la variación en el concepto de ley de ambos autores, teniendo detrás la tesis general de los derechos del hombre y sus leyes.

At a time of change, the theologians of the Golden Age, particularly studied here (Francisco de Vitoria and Alfonso de Castro) knew how to respond from the whole man and discussion from the man (in his immanence and transcendence) to problems and practical challenges of his time; the need to form a new time legally (the problem of the law) as well as to understand the new business practices. This article presents the variation in the concept of law of both authors, with the general thesis behind human rights and laws.
