  • The article offers suggestions for general counsel for protecting sensitive customer data from cyber threats to complying with data protection laws with the need of the efforts of corporate information governance (IG). Topics discussed include rise in the volume of data predicted by International Data Corp. (IDC), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of European Union and the impending impact of Brexit.
