  • This paper constitutes a summary of the preliminary studies on zircon populations from seven granitoid stocks of the Cantabrian and West Asturian Leonese zones. The frequency distribution, mean point and typological evolutionary trend of each population have been calculated. The significance of the results and their petrogenetic implications are discussed.
