  • The study of agglutinate foraminifera (Textularia laevigata d'Orbigny) in the clay levels of “Can Rosell” section (Miocene-“Depresión Prelitoral Catalana”) with SEM -EDS and RX difraction techniques, point out the selection of adventicious calcareous material and the presence of calcareous cement. There is no evidence of siliceous and ferroginous cement. The iron founded in the analysis corresponds to the pyrite generated in reductor environment..
