  • With aluminium increasingly becoming the metal of choice for diverse applications, global demand for primary aluminium is set to continue growing for the remainder of the decade. While the forecast compound annual growth rate (CAGR) touted by the analysts may vary, the consensus trend is firmly upwards, driven by increasing working age population, urbanisation and industrialisation in the emerging world; and rising income per capita in the developed world.
