Este trabalho propõe reflexões à luz do Relatório Delors (UNESCO, 2010), de Werthein e Cunha (UNESCO, 2005) e de Freire (2011a, 2011b) sobre como o conceito de educação ao longo da vida atravessa o cotidiano de professores de educação básica do Brasil e, nesse sentido, de que modo as metas do PNE (Brasil, 2014), voltadas à formação desses profissionais, poderiam ajudá-los a desatar os nós que os impedem de formar cidadãos do e para o mundo e de se (trans)formarem
This paper proposes reflections about how the concept of lifelong education crosses the routine of Brazilian basic education teachers, in consonance with the Delors Report (UNESCO, 2010), Werthein and Cunha (UNESCO, 2005) and Freire (2011a, 2011b). It also discusses in what manner some goals of PNE (Brazil, 2014) related to teachers’ education would help to untie the knots that prevent these Brazilian teachers from preparing citizens of and to the world and (trans)form themselves.
