    Following the path of two visual texts that express the scene of the Last Supper, this paper investigates the parallelism between the production of visual works that calls for a greater tactility and the adoption of a paradigm different from the optic, without separation and hierarchy of the senses. The haptic paradigm unifies knowledge and practices that integrate the senses and propose a higher body engagement from the enunciatee. In this context, the notion of synesthesia becomes the conceptual center able to explain the integration of the senses. From this notion, we investigate the effects of meaning arising from greater tactility visually stimulated by the work of the David Lachapelle, Last Supper, analyzed at the end of the article.

    Seguindo o caminho de duas versões da cena da Última ceia, este artigo busca investigar o paralelismo existente entre a produção de obras visuais que convocam uma maior tatilidade e a adoção de um paradigma sobre a visão diferente do ótico e sem a separação e hierarquização dos sentidos. Propõe-se o paradigma háptico como um aglutinador de conhecimentos e práticas que integram os sentidos e propõem um maior engajamento corpóreo do enunciatário. Nesse contexto, a noção de sinestesia se torna o centro conceitual capaz de explicar essa integração dos sentidos. A partir de tal noção, investiga-se os efeitos de sentido advindos de uma maior tatilidade estimulada visualmente pela obra da Última ceia, de David Lachapelle, analisada ao final do artigo.
