Resumen de Simão Fernandes Coutinho (¿? - oporto, 1797), un organero gallego en el norte de Portugal, y el órgano histórico de tiradentes (Minas Gerais, Brasil)

El presente artículo propone un acercamiento a la escuela de organería Echevarría en sendos países ibéricos, España y Portugal, al contexto del órgano de la antigua Capitania Geral das Minas Gerais, América Portuguesa y, muy especialmente, al órgano histórico de Tiradentes, así como a la figura de Simão Fernandes Coutinho, maestro gallego afincado en Oporto, y a sus trabajos documentados. Para finalizar, presento un estudio comparativo entre los instrumentos íntegramente construidos por el maestro organero, así como sus intervenciones en otros, y la fuente organológica que todavía se conserva en Brasil abriendo, de este modo, una nueva perspectiva sobre el arte de la organería desarrollado por Fernandes Coutinho.

This article proposes an approach of the Echevarría school of organ making in both Iberian countries, Spain and Portugal, the context of the organ in the ancient Capitania Geral das Minas Gerais, Portuguese America, and, more specifically, the historical organ of Tiradentes, as well as the figure of the Galician organ maker established in Oporto Simão Fernnades Coutinho and his documented works. To finish, I present a comparative study of the instruments and interventions made by the organ maker and the organological source still preserved in Brazil, opening this way a new perspective towards Fernandes Coutinho's art of organ making
