    El texto plantea una serie de reflexiones sobre temas asociados al cruce vigente de las realidades y expectativas que se dan en el mundo de la World Wide Web, especialmente en las plataformas de redes sociales o aplicaciones como Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat y WhatsApp. A partir de conceptos como colaboración creativa, fatiga digital, nativos digitales e inmigrantes digitales, se van empalmando los argumentos que interconectan los distintos niveles de intereses que se dan en el mundo virtual. Así, observamos cómo las generaciones biológicas y tecnológicas convergen, o divergen, ante las ofertas abiertas de conocimiento, información o entretenimiento en la red. Los individuos, comenzando con su propia personalidad e identidad en las redes sociales, terminan incursionando en dominios donde se contrastan valores y creencias, así como formas de hablar ―y de pensar―, tanto en inglés como en español, a medida que ejecutan actividades performativas como acceder, buscar, encontrar, y a veces perderse, en el mundo digital.

    This paper presents a series of reflections on current issues associated with the crossing of realities and expectations that exists in the world of the World Wide Web, especially on network platforms or social applications like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and WhatsApp. Trying to find some meaning in concepts as creative collaboration, digital fatigue, digital natives and digital immigrants we find interconnected arguments and different levels of interests that exist in the virtual world. So, we observe how the biological and technological generations converge, or diverge, against open offers of knowledge, information or entertainment on the network. Some individuals begin with its own personality and identity into social networks, going at the end of the day, to realms where they contrast values and beliefs, ways of speak ―and think― English and Spanish, while they run performative activities as access, search, find or, maybe sometimes, while they get lost in the digital world.
