En la presente investigación se evalúa el desarrollo del concepto de “remanente” durante el siglo xix. El concepto fue integrado a la escuela futurista y sus concomitantes, el dispensacionalismo y la escuela historicista. A modo de ejemplo de la escuela historicista se presentará la postura de Ellen G. White.

This research evaluates the development of the concept of “remnant” during the 19th century. The concept was integrated to the futuristic school and its concomitants, the dispensationalism, and the historicist school. The view of Ellen G. White will be presented as an example of the historicist school.
