Analysis techniques currently in use for product reliability assume a completely randomized design. Analysis methods for more complex experimental designs that are not completely randomized have received less attention from the reliability field. A simple analysis technique is described for reliability data from designed experiments containing subsampling. A popular reliability data set illustrates the method, and a comparison is made with previous analysis methods.
