  • Resumen
    • A number of factors are facilitating the emergence of new digital business models. Companies like Airbnb and Uber have shaken the foundations of sectors such as tourism or transport. But far from abating, these disruptions will be increasingly common in all industries like education, banking, energy or health. This article discusses some of the most significant factors that are facilitating this effect. Open innovation and the rise of the of corporate innovation centers, the collaborative economy, the Service-dominant (S-D) logic or new technological trends are some of the factors that are facilitating innovation to emerge more quickly and effectively. Two examples of companies with distinctive digital business models, Airbnb and Sher.pa illustrate how new companies are doing their business.
