Este artículo pretende profundizar en la dimensión social de la antropología del creer del pensador jesuita francés Michel de Certeau (1925-1986). Para ello se abordan cuestiones como la concepción certeauniana de política (con un marcado tinte polemológico) y de institución (sin rehuir ni su necesidad ni su tendencia a la corrupción). Posteriormente se explora el modo en que ambos conceptos se relacionan con las creencias.

This article aims to understand the social dimension of the French Jesuit thinker Michel de Certeau's (1925 to 1986) anthropology of believe. To get it the paper approaches questions as the certeaunian conceptions of politics (with a marked polemological bias) and institution (including its necessity and its tendency to corruption). Finally it is explored how both concepts are related with beliefs.
