  En este artículo los autores describen el estado de los rasgos y características orientados a garantizar la calidad editorial y científica de Lenguaje y Textos y Porta Linguarum, dando cuenta de que se trata de revistas que emergen con carácter interdepartamental e interuniversitario por la demanda del área de conocimiento de Didáctica de la Lengua y la Literatura, y con la función de participar en el reconocimiento, valoración y acreditación del profesorado universitario, conforme a los parámetros establecidos. Adoptando una perspectiva analítica y moderadamente comparativa entre ambas, se desprenden aquellos puntos fuertes y débiles que constituyen una toma de conciencia de las vías para incidir en un prometedor incremento de la calidad buscada

  In this paper, the authors describe the state of the features and characteristics targeted at guaranteeing the scientific and editorial quality of Lenguaje y Textos and Porta Linguarum. They give account of the fact that both journals emerge with interdepartmental and interuniversity nature due to the demand of the area of knowledge of Didactics of Language and Literature, with the role of contributing to the recognition, evaluation and accreditation of university professors, according to the established parameters. The authors adopt an analytical and moderately comparative perspective between both journals, in order to shed light on those strengths and weaknesses that form an awareness of the ways to have a positive impact to increase the quality sought.
