    Este artículo aborda las nuevas tendencias que se asumen en la didáctica del Español y la Literatura a partir de retomar la relación existente entre el pensamiento y el lenguaje, tomando en consideración el conocimiento del hombre, acercando cada vez más la enseñanza en estas materias a las nuevas concepciones psicológicas y lingüísticas.Se realiza un análisis comparativo ente el nuevo enfoque cognitivo comunicativo y sociocultural y el anterior comunicativo funcional, aunque se retoman de este último,sus principios teóricos y metodológicos.

    This article discusses the new trends that are assumed in the teaching of Spanish and Literature from resuming the relationship between thought and language, takinginto account the knowledge of man, closer and closer education in these matters to new psychological and linguistic concepts.We performed a comparative analysis of the new entity communicative and sociocultural cognitive approach and the previous functional communicative, but takes up the latter, its methodological principles.
