  • Resumen
    • The widespread use of computers is placing pressure on the supply of appropriate software training. Individuals often receive their first formal training on computers during undergraduate studies. These individuals are mixed with others who have had substantial experience with personal computing. A classic problem arising in large classes of this make-up are the difficulty of providing training at the right level. Students with computer experience suffer as the instructor wrestles to achieve a "minimum" standard. With the proliferation of personal computing and tertiary education, the task becomes even more complicated. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of two teaching methods: cooperative learning and whole-group instruction, on office automation software training.
