Resumen de ¿Qué deporte en la Escuela?

  Es nuestro interés presentar un enfoque del deporte escolar (una didáctica del deporte), que en su recorrido plantee a éste como posibilidad pedagógica y como oportunidad curricular excepcional para la construcción de ciudadanía. Situaremos el trabajo del asunto del deporte desde un enfoque específicamente didáctico, éste no restringe el pensamiento que sobre él, pueden desplegarse desde otras dimensiones. Nos orienta la siguiente pregunta: si el deporte no debe ingresar a la escuela en tanto contenido socialmente significativo, ¿dónde debería enseñarse? ¿Quién generaría alternativas posibles que propongan pensarlo desde la reelaboración de lo propiamente rutinario, gestando un camino alternativo?

  It is our aim to present an approach with regards to sport at school – a way of teaching sport – that proposes it as a pedagogical and exceptional curricular opportunity for the construction of the citizenship. We will give our work on this issue an exclusively didactic aspect, which might not impede any other dimension from being considered as well The question is: If sport should not be part of the school programme, based on a socially significant content, where should it be taught? Who would, then, provides the possible alternatives which propose rethinking the teaching of sports at school within merely repetitive rutinary patterns, developing an alternative way?
