"We are going to develop the skills of the people - the human capital," [Emma Rasolovoahangy] says, adding that "the level of skill in Madagascar has to match the level of skill that the company is looking for".
Lastly, Rasolovoahangy extends an invitation to all investors and miners: "Madagascar is very wealthy (...), we have everything there in terms of mineral resources and they are unexploited (...) when we reach government we are going to have a stable government with no corruption and we are going to protect the investor." PetroMad serves two purposes, the first is to create maximum benefit for Madagascar in terms of jobs, revenues and profits; while the second is "to be the example to train the Malagasy, get them excited about getting involved in the mining industry, especially oil and gas," Rasolovoahangy says.
