"Our main focus is Nunasvaara. It is part way through a scoping study, and on its way towards the more advanced pre-feasibility study," Talga's CEO, Mark Thompson told IM.
Potentially, Nunasvaara could be in production by early 2016, "but we have several stages of economic diligence to go yet; likewise, for Raitajarvi," Thompson noted.
"Graphite prices are doing extremely well considering the world's current commodities bust," Thompson said. "The danger is that low volume markets [like the emerging battery market] can be easily swamped by expanding producers."
