  • Resumen
    • "Turkey has been experiencing a'mining boom' for nearly the past 10 years," O Cagim Tug, Mining Turkey editor, writes in the 4th edition of the publication.

Magnesia and refractories producer Kumas Manyezit Sanayi AS was formed in 1972 as a dead-burned magnesia (DBM) producer, but soon expanded to also produce smaller quantities of caustic calcined magnesia (CCM) and fused magnesia (FM).

Following the installation of a third rotary kiln in the company's Kutahya plant and the acquisition of the Tavsanli plant, capacity currently stands at 275,000 tpa of DBM, 50,000 tpa of CCM and 17,000 tpa of FM.
