    A lo largo del siglo xx y xxi, el teatro como medio ha acusado diferentes transformaciones tecnológicas que han propiciado nuevas estrategias composicionales y estéticas. Por otra parte, la creciente instauración en la sociedad red ha desembocado en una asimilación mediática sin precedentes en este nuevo arte híbrido.

    De acuerdo con ello, se pretende analizar, aún mínimamente, la constelación de lenguajes que caracteriza lo teatral en la sociedad contemporánea, atendiendo a las relaciones entre teatro y cibercultura. Se describen algunas de sus manifestaciones más representativas, hiperdrama, teatro digital, ciberperformance y, sobre todo, la categoría de transmedialidad en relación con lo teatral.

    Al llarg dels segles xx i xxi el teatre com a mitjà ha manifestat diferents transformacions tecnològiques que han propiciat noves estratègies composicionals i estètiques. D'una altra banda, la creixent instauració en la societat xarxa ha desembocat en una assimilació mediàtica sense precedents en aquest nou art híbrid.

    D'acord amb això, es pretén analitzar, encara mínimament, la constel·lació de llenguatges que caracteritza el fet teatral en la societat contemporània, atenent a les relacions entre teatre i cibercultura. Es descriuen algunes de les seves manifestacions més representatives, hiperdrama, teatre digital, ciberperformance i, sobretot, la categoria de transmedialitat en relació amb allò teatral.

    Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, theatre as a medium has undergone various technological transformations that have led to new aesthetic and compositional strategies. In addition to this, its growing presence in the network society has led to an assimilation of media that is unprecedented in this new hybrid art form.

    In light of this, this article sets out to analyse, albeit to a small extent, the constellation of theatrical languages that can be found in contemporary society, looking at the relationships that exist between theatre and cyberculture. Some of its most representative manifestations are described here: hyperdrama, digital theatre, cyberperformance and, in particular, the category of transmediality in relation to theatre.
