ResumenDurante los ’90, Argentina buscóinsertarse internacionalmente: seconsolidaron el alineamiento del país conEstados Unidos, favoreciendo la firma detratados internacionales para la protecciónde Derechos Humanos. Algunos de ellosse dirigieron a las mujeres. Las reformasestructurales afirmaron las desigualdadessociales y facilitaron el funcionamiento demecanismos ilícitos, afectando a losderechos que se decía proteger. En estecontexto, las políticas públicasevidenciaron el proyecto hegemónicoestatal.Buscaremos identificar cómo sematerializó en Bahía Blanca la protecciónde los Derechos Humanos de las mujeresen relación a su explotación sexual a partirde la suscripción argentina a los tratadosmencionados, basándonos en artículos deLa Nueva Provincia, el Plan Estratégicolocal, expedientes judiciales, entrevistas ydichos tratados.Palabras claves: explotación sexual,Derechos Humanos, Bahía Blanca,políticas públicas

In the ‘90s, Argentina looked for international collaboration: the consolidation of its alignment with the United States, favoured the signature of international agreements for the protection of Human Rights. Some of them were directed to women. The structural reforms affirmed the already existent social inequalities and facilitated the functioning of illicit mechanism, affecting those rights the country was supposed to protect. In this context, the public policies highlighted the real and hegemonic project of the state We intend to identify how the protection of women’s Human Rights materialized in Bahía Blanca -in relation to their sexual exploitation- since the signature of the mentioned agreements, basing our investigation in articles appeared in the periodic La Nueva Provincia, the Strategic Local Plan, judicial expedients, interviews and those agreements.
