Hasta hace poco Venezuela no podíaexhibir una lista de autores policiales,sólo había buenos cronistas policialesperiodistas o ex policías. Ya en estesiglo Francisco Suniaga y Ana TeresaTorres incursionaron en el género negro,pero sin dedicarse exclusivamente aél. A fines del 2012 apareció una coleccióncon nueve novelistas policiales, cincohombres y cuatro mujeres. La mismaeditorial publicó en otro formato ala quinta mujer. Aquí analizamos lascinco novelas escritas por mujeres,esperando que alguna haga del génerosu pasión y escriba muchas historiasmás, pues en todos los casos se tratade su primer policial.

Until recently, Venezuela could not display a list of writers of detective novels. Only had good police chroniclers, journalists and ex policemen. Already this century, Francisco Suniaga and Ana Teresa Torres incursion into black gender but without engaging only to it. At the end of 2012 appeared a collection with nine police novelists, five men and four women. The same publisher issued, in another format, the fifth woman. Here we analyze the five novels written by women, hopping that some of them make of this gender their passion and write many other stories, because in all cases it is their first crime novel
