El artículo presenta el análisis de los resultadosobtenidos en una investigación cualitativade campo realizada entre mujeres de sectorespopulares de la ciudad de Caracas, con elobjetivo de revisar los patrones culturalesde femineidad que están vigentes en la actualidad,se examinan las normas y deberes sociales,imperativos sexo-genéricos, imaginarios, actitudesy emociones que determinan el modo patriarcalde entender el deber ser genérico. El textoexpone las prácticas e imaginarios femeninosactuales sobre el amor y la pareja, las expectativassobre mujeres y hombres, la belleza y lamaternidad, todo esto indagado y registradoa partir de la verbalización de las vivenciasde un conjunto de mujeres. La investigaciónpermite demostrar la pervivencia de las estructurasculturales del patriarcado.

The article presents the analysis of the results of a qualitative field research conducted among women of popular sectors of the city of Caracas, with the objective of reviewing the cultural norms of femininity that are currently in force, the rules and social duties are examined, mandatory sex-generic, imaginary, attitudes and emotions that determine the patriarchal way of understanding that must be generic definition. The text presents the current women practices and imaginary about love and family, the expectations on women and men, beauty and motherhood, all researched and recorded from the verbalization of the experiences of a group of women.
The research can prove the survival of the cultural structures of patriarchy
