El signo de Chilaiditi es el hallazgo radiológico de un segmento intestinal que se interpone entre la cara superior del hígado y el diafragma. Se considera síndrome cuando se acompaña de sintomatología. Puede confundirse con neumoperitoneo, motivo de interconsulta a cirugía. Presentamos el caso de una paciente de 14 años atendida en nuestro hospital.
Chilaiditi’s sign is the radiographic finding of an interposed intestinal segment between the upper surface of the liver and diaphragm. It is considered as syndrome when is accompanied by symptoms. It can be confused with pneumoperitoneum, reason of consultation for surgery.
We report the case of a patient of 14 years old treated in our hospital.
