Resumen de El Abate Molina y su poema “Sobre los ríos de Chile”

Después de señalar algunos aspectos de la personalidad del Abate Molina y de su obra cientíica, como naturalista, el artículo se reiere a la obra poética conservada de Molina y se centra en el análisis del poema "De luviis chilensiibus".También estudia el pasaje del poema De peste variolarum sobre un viaje imaginario por los ríos de Chile. Finalmente, el autor presenta su traducción castellana del poema "De luviis chilensibus"

After identifying some elements of Abbe Molina’s personality and his scientiic texts, as a naturalist, this article will refer to some of his conserved poetic texts and will focus on an analysis of the poem "De luviis chilensiibus". It will also study the poem "De peste variolarum", which recalls an imaginary trip through the rivers of Chile. Finally, the author will include a Spanish translation of the poem "De luviis chilensibus"
