  Este artículo aborda algunos aspectos de Aurora Poética de Jalisco (1851) y de El Ensayo Literario (1852), las primeras revistas literarias en Jalisco. En su momento fueron parte importante de la vida cultural de Guadalajara, en nuestros días para el investigador son piezas imprescindibles para reconstruir la historia de la literatura regional, en especial la escrita por mujeres. La aportación de este trabajo se basa en documentos localizados en bibliotecas y que permiten conocer la red de distribución de estas revistas decimonónicas así como los caminos que siguieron para poder llegar hasta sus lectores

  This article discusses some aspects of Aurora Poética de Jalisco (1851) and El Ensayo Literario (1852), the first literary magazines in Jalisco. At the time they were an important part of the cultural life of Guadalajara, in our days to the current research are essential pieces to reconstruct the history of regional literature, especially that written by women.

  The contribution of this work is based on documents located in libraries and that allow us to find out the network of distribution of these nineteenth-century magazines as well as the paths they followed to reach their readers.
