    The principles of hierarchical order are more and more supplanted by network-based organizations. This promotes the ascending and transversal circulation of information and of participatory engagement. This article will explore the connections which that can be made between the concepts of system and of network (human, digital), and the importance given to the expression of the public. How can we make a link between the ancient concept of « wisdom of the crowd » and that of expertise of the crowd which is now in a position of emergence?

    Les logiques d’ordre hiérarchique et arborescent cèdent de plus .en plus le pas aux organisations en réseau, favorisant les circulations ascendantes et transversales de l’information et l’engagement participatif. Cet article se propose d’explorer les rapprochements qui peuvent être faits entre les notions de système, de réseau (humains et numériques) et ce jaillissement de l’expression des publics. Comment pouvons-nous faire un lien entre le concept ancien de « sagesse de la foule » et celui d’expertise de la foule qui se retrouve aujourd’hui en situation d’émergence?
