Mosaic announced it would invest up to $1bn as part of a joint venture agreement with Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Ma'aden) and the Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) to develop integrated phosphate production facilities at the Wa'ad Al Shammal Phosphate Project, Saudi Arabia.
Mosaic entered into an official shareholders' agreement with Ma'aden and SABIC to develop the $7bn Wa'ad Al Shamal phosphate production facility.
