Ser multimedia es una de las características que se atribuye eufóricamente a Internet. La red se quiere asimilar a una plataforma por igual visual que acústica. Sin embargo, mediante la triangulación entre los datos estadísticos de unas encuestas realizadas a universitarios y las explicaciones de sus respuestas en diversos focus groups, se llega a la conclusión que la concepción de Internet es preeminentemente visual.
Esta investigación indaga en la percepción de los usuarios sobre Internet y demuestra la diferencia entre incorporar lo acústico como esencia de la plataforma o utilizar ésta como distribuidora de material acústico, lo cual sería el caso según los datos obtenidos.
The feature of being multimedia is attributed euphorical/y to Internet. The network wants to assimilate itself to a platform as visual as acoustic. However, by triangulating between the statistics of some surveys of university students and the explanations of their answers in various focus groups, this work concludes that the concept of Internet is preeminently visual.
This research investigates the perception of users about the Internet and shows the difference between incorporating the acoustic as essence of the platform ar using itas a distributor of acoustic material, which would be the case according to the data provided.
