  • Resumen
    • The discussion of a real-life example leads to the finding that basic, rationally grounded moral norms apply and must be followed even under conditions analogous to the "state of nature" such as those in a concentration camp. People who innocently end up in a situation in which they can only save their own lives by directly or directly causing the death of another innocent person, or by accepting this person's death, are morally obligated under such conditions to refrain from saving themselves. If despite a great effort they do not summon the strength to do what is morally required in this existential situation, their action can be considered excused.
