A continuación de unas reflexiones teóricas sobre la interacción entre la imagen y el texto y de cómo se realiza este hecho en la epigrafía, se trata el tema del ascia y de su posible significación como símbolo indicador y de reconocimiento para quienes deben cuidar la sepultura o el monumento que lleva dicha indicación. Se proponen además hipótesis sobre quiénes podrían ser los encargados de esta custodia, posiblemente corporaciones colegiales; no se descarta tampoco la posibilidad de un ritual vinculado a ella.

Later of a few theoretical reflections on the interaction between the image and the text and of how this fact is realized in the epigraphy, there treats itself the topic of the ascia and of his possible significance as warning symbol and of recognition for those who must take care of the grave or the monument that takes the above mentioned indication. They propose in addition hypotheses on whom they might be the managers of this custody, possibly collegiate corporations; neither discards the possibility of a ritual linked to her.
