Resumen de Lectores competentes en la carrera de licenciatura en comunicación social

  La formación multifacética de la personalidad del individuo ha sido una constante preocupación por los pedagogos cubanos de todos los tiempos que se concretó en la política educativa establecida en Cuba después del triunfo revolucionario. En este sentido la enseñanza de la disciplina Lengua Materna como parte del currículo que integran el área de las humanidades desempeña un papel protagónico en el logro de estas aspiraciones. Por la importancia que reviste la lectura como mediador de este proceso formativo, muchos especialistas de la lengua, han dirigido sus investigaciones hacia este componente, con vistas a perfeccionar el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje que garantice la formación de un profesional idóneo y con una amplia cultura humanística. No obstante los esfuerzos realizados, aún persisten serias insuficiencias en el profesional del perfil de la carrera de Comunicación Social, lo cual limita su desempeño como comunicador eficiente. Es por ello que el presente trabajo se propone implementar un sistema de actividades docentes que favorece el desarrollo de lectores competentes desde la asignatura Redacción y Composición. Con la introducción de las actividades propuestas se obtiene resultados superiores en el desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas en la formación del profesional de Comunicación Social.

  Teaching activities that favor the development of competent readers in major students of social communication.

  The multiple stage formation of the individual'S personality has been a constant concern for the cuban educators of all the times that it was summed up in the educational politics settled down in cuba after the revolutionary victory. In this sense the teaching of the discipline of mother tongue as part of the curriculum that integrate the area of the humanities plays a protagonist role in the achievement of these aspirations. For the importance that reading as mediator of this formative process, many specialists of the language have directed their investigations toward this component, with a view of perfecting the teaching-learning process that guarantees the formation of a suitable professional and with a wide humanistic culture. Nevertheless the efforts carried out and the serious inadequacies still persist in the professional profile of the career of social communication, which limits their acting as efficient communicator. That is why that the present paper intends to implement a system of teaching activities that favors the development of competent readers from the subject of writing and composition. With the introduction of the proposed activities it is obtained superior results in the formation of the future professional of social communication.
