La qüestió ecològica és central en el debat filosoficoètic d'aquest final de segle. En aquest article, el professor Mario Enrique Sacchi porta a terme una reflexió sobre el sentit de l'ecologia a partir de la filosofia d'arrel cristiana. Contràriament al que diuen alguns pensadors actuals, Sacchi considera que la cultura judeocristiana és, en la seva gènesi, profundament ecològica, atès que, des d'aquesta perspectiva, la naturalesa és compresa com "creatio Dei".

The ecological issue has a central place within the philosophical and ethical debate at the end of this century. In this article, Professor M.E. Sacchi carries out a reflection on the sense of ecology from the Christianbased philosophy. Contrary to what some current thinkers express, M.E. Sacchi considers that the Jewish-Christian culture is, in its origin, deeply ecological, given that, from this perspective, nature is understood as creatio Deo.
